Mark Zuckerberg’s real estate empire

Zuckerberg’s real estate portfolio is expansive, strategically acquired for luxury, privacy, and functionality.

1. Palo Alto Compound

In 2011, Zuckerberg purchased a 5,617-square-foot home in Palo Alto, California, for $7 million. To ensure privacy, he spent an additional $43 million acquiring four surrounding properties, creating a 1.83-acre compound.

The main residence features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a saltwater pool, a glass-enclosed sunroom, and a large backyard pavilion.

Notably, the home is equipped with an AI assistant named “Jarvis,” reflecting Zuckerberg’s tech-savvy lifestyle.

On Kauai’s northeast side, Zuckerberg owns the 1,400-acre Koolau Ranch, acquired through deals that started in 2014 for over $270 million, including $170 million for land and $100 million for construction.

The compound features two mansions totalling 57,000 square feet, with 30 bedrooms, 30 bathrooms, multiple elevators, offices, conference rooms, and an industrial kitchen.

The Brushwood Estate, built in the 1920s, spans 5,322 square feet with six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a 2,293-square-foot guesthouse on six acres.

The Carousel Estate, on 3.5 acres, includes eight bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, and 200 feet of private waterfront with a marina-style pier suitable for yachts over 50 feet. Together, the estates offer 600 feet of private waterfront.
