The View’s Joy Behar made a savage dig at her past lovers, claiming “some of them acted like ghosts” in the bedroom department as she was quizzed on psychics and the afterlife this week.

The 81-year-old comedian took a swipe after executive producer Brian Teta asked if she had ever “slept” with a ghost, during a discussion on Wednesday’s episode of The View: Behind the Table podcast.

“You’ve also famously said that ‘ghosts aren’t real’, but in the past you’ve actually had several headlines from a joke you made about sleeping with ghosts…,” Brian asked.

Joy laughed: “Those are jokes! People don’t seem to remember that I’m actually a comedian, I did it for more than 35 years, onstage, making people laugh!”

Joy was speaking to The View‘s executive producer Brian Teta when she made the hilarious comment.

Keen to get a definitive answer, Brian asked: “Okay let’s clear the air right now, Joy Behar have you ever had s.3.x with a ghost?”

“No,” Joy replied, before cheekily adding: “But some of them acted like ghosts! And there weren’t that many by the way, I was pretty virginal!”

She later branded her co-host Sunny Hostin “gullible” for believing in ghosts and psychics.

Brian had been referring to a comment Joy made on The View last October when she told her cohosts: “I’ve had s.3.x with a few ghosts and never got pregnant.”

The veteran TV star is certainly no stranger to speaking her mind, and is more than happy to overshare when it comes to her personal life and s.3.x.

Just last week, she left the panel flabbergasted when she made a rather stunning confession about her s.3.x life.

The redhead, who is married to Steve Janowitz, claimed that when it comes to the bedroom, it is a case of “quality” – not quantity – as she hinted that men haven’t always been able to locate her G spot.

Her admission came as the panel discussed actress Rachel Bilson’s recent claim that she would find it “weird” if a single man in his 40s had only slept with four women.

Whoopi Goldberg, 67, admitted she found the comments “very odd”, while Joy claimed it wouldn’t bother her if her lover had only been with four s.3.xual partners.

“If one out of the four can locate my G spot, I’m all in,” she joked. “I don’t need thousands, get me one good one!”

The live studio burst out laughing at Joy’s raunchy remark, but Whoopi was more concerned and quipped: “That scares me! If you don’t know where that G spot is by now…”

Joy – who has been married to Steve Janowitz since 2011 – felt the need to explain herself further, firing back: “I know where it is! I’m going to form a search party soon for them to find it!”

Joy left her co-hosts in stitches, including Sunny Hostin, last week when she made a joke about her G-spot.

Joy also had her cohosts in stitches as she discussed going bald in intimate areas.

And a day earlier, Joy’s co-hosts were shocked yet again when she spoke about going “bald” in an intimate area of her body.

She spoke candidly about the aging process during a discussion about keeping up with beauty standards – perhaps sharing a bit too much personal information about her body hair.

“You told me as you get older, that hair down there and everywhere else goes gray or bald,” Sunny said.

As the rest of the panel laughed in shock, Sunny, 54, then admitted that she’s undergone several “medieval type procedures” – including laser hair removal.

Joy grilled her on the other steps she has taken to prevent any greying hair, asking if she’d resorted to hair removal cream, which she wrongly referred to as “alopecia”.

“What, are you putting alopecia on it? What are you doing? I mean, that stuff they put on there, what is it called?” Joy said to Sunny, before she realized her mistake and added: “Not alopecia! Alopecia is what happens! But what’s the thing they put on there to let the hair grow?”

Sunny explained that “you laser everything off” and admitted: “I did a lot of stuff because of you!” before mentioning hair regrowth product Rogaine.

“You’re not putting Rogaine down there, are you?” Joy joked, as their co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin urged viewers tuning in at home to “not take this medical advice!”

Mother-of-three Sara Haines was clearly still intrigued by the topic and asked Joy: “Does it fall out eventually?” to which she replied: “What? The hair down there? Yes, you get bald. So what? Who needs it?”
