Everyone Is Worried About WNBA Star Kelsey Plum After She Posted Concerning VideoKelsey Plum (Photo via Twitter)
WNBA star Kelsey Plum is trending on social media for some dental work.

The Los Angeles Sparks star just wanted to get some teeth work done this week when everything went terribly wrong.

Plum took to her Instagram story and posted a video in which she talked about her time at the dentist, where she had to be injected with Novocaine during her teeth cleaning.

The novocaine was still in effect as the 30-year-old could hardly speak clearly, with her mouth numb.

“Being an adult, so they say,” Plum began. “You know, it’s like. Let me just take my off day, go to the dentist, get my teeth cleaned.”

That is when the trouble began.

‘And bam! Fillings! Doc goes, ‘Hey, I’m going to inject this novacaine and you’re not going to be able to feel your lip. Your lip’s gonna feel fat.’ Five minutes later, he goes, ‘How does it feel?’

“I said, ‘Doc, my lip feels fatter than a BBL! My lip is so fat!’ Just feeling so grateful for fillings I didn’t even know I needed!”

A “BBL” stands for a Brazilian butt lift, which is a cosmetic procedure that many women have had and some have even died from. It is extremely risky.

Of course, Kelsey Plum was joking with her statement.

Plum even revealed that a fan wanted a picture of her as soon as she left, but she denied it because of how she looked.

Fans were worried:

“Dang I hope she wasn’t driving”, someone said.

“Did he shoot the Novocain directly into her frontal lobe too? Hope she wasn’t driving. Poor KP”, another commented.

Why she driving lol”. Another commenter said.

“Novocain isn’t a gas, like laughing gas. I’m guessing she had both, because Novocain doesn’t illicit this kind of reaction. The numb part is so annoying. Hope you can feel your face now KP.” , another commenter said.

Kelsey Plum will be playing for another franchise in 2025.

The Las Vegas Aces dealt Plum to the Los Angeles Sparks in January in a blockbuster three-team trade, sending six-time WNBA All-Star selection Jewell Loyd to Las Vegas and the No. 2 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft to the Seattle Storm, according to ESPN.

Plum, the Aces’ No. 1 overall pick in 2017, made three All-Star teams, was named to the All-WNBA team in 2022, and helped Las Vegas win back-to-back WNBA championships in 2022 and 2023.

Things were not all good for her in 2024 as her field goal and 3-point percentages dipped from the year prior, while Las Vegas fell to the eventual champion New York Liberty, 3-1, in the WNBA Playoffs semifinals.

Plum will be a free agent after the upcoming season.
