Caitlin Clark fans have had enough.
Clark will miss at least two weeks’ worth of basketball games with the Indiana Fever. According to communication from the Indiana Fever on Monday, she suffered a left quadricep strain.
The face of the WNBA has suffered the first worrisome injury of her career after playing in 183 straight regular-season and postseason games over her four seasons at Iowa, her full rookie season with the Fever, and the first four games of this season.
Clark may have been playing through injury Saturday in a 90-88 loss to the Liberty, or it happened on the controversial final play of the game when she controversially got stripped by Natasha Cloud while going up for the potential game-winning 3-pointer as time expired.
Fever head coach Stephanie White later said that she thought Clark was fouled. The Fever are off to a 2-2 start but will be without Caitlin Clark for at least four games, beginning Wednesday against the Mystics.
Clark is averaging 19 points and a league-best 9.3 assists for the Fever.
In the meantime, her fan base is lashing out over her injury, and they seem to have a plan in place that could hurt the entire league until Clark returns to the floor.

Caitlin Clark will miss at least two weeks of action after she suffered a quad injury, the Indiana Fever announced on Monday.
Clark will miss a huge stretch of games for the Fever, beginning with Wednesday’s matchup on the road against the Washington Mystics. It is the first of two matchups against Washington.
Her fan base plans to boycott the league due to the mistreatment of Clark and the WNBA’s inability to protect her.
“Boycott the WNBA until Caitlin Clark returns. The league must fix its officiating and end the discriminatory treatment toward Clark and others. Let’s send a strong message: without the fans, and without CC22, the WNBA risks fading back into irrelevance! #BoycottWNBA😤,” one fan said.
“Who made you the ambassador of the league? If people watch for Clark, that’s their prerogative. If there are fans that see the team as a reason to cheer. So be it. I think fans who won’t watch are fans that are tired of the WNBA double standards when it comes to Caitlin Clark. Maybe I am wrong but if you only see racism from one fan group than you are sir a just biased media who is a very big part of the current hate from both sides. If you want a job at ESPN, you certainly qualify,” a second fan stated.
“#boycottwnba. Boycott the black racist lesbian League until Caitlin Clark comes back!” a third fan added.

One final fan wrote: All of us Fever Fans need to boycott the WNBA until Caitlin comes back. Tired of the rigged games with the corrupt officials @wnba Now is the time to show our displeasure. That’s what I’m doing. You want me to watch games not involving Caitlin Clark, then fix the problems!”
