Everyone Is Calling For Chicago Sky GM To Be Fired After He Breaks Silence On Angel Reese’s Play On The Court

Angel Reese is once again notching double-doubles, but the Chicago Sky are a terrible team.
With Chicago sitting near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings at 2-6, Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said the team “needs more” out of its second-year pro.
The Chicago Sky entered the 2025 WNBA season with playoff hopes, but they have only experienced multiple double-digit losses, including their latest setback against the New York Liberty.
Now, they are looking like more of a lottery team than a competitive one.
“She’s had some great games, and she’s had some games like everybody else that haven’t been her best,” Pagliocca told the Chicago Sun-Times Tuesday about Angel Reese.
“But she’s our best chance at versatility on this roster. We need more production out of her, but we need her to help us in other ways, too.”
Reese is racking up points and rebounds, but her stats have regressed in almost every statistical category from last season when she was an All-Star and averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
This year, she’s scoring just 10.1 points a night on a putrid 35.8 percent from the field and just 36 percent from two-point range.
Reese’s rebound numbers have dipped to 12.1 per game, and she’s averaging 3.9 turnovers a night. During her rookie campaign, she was averaging 2.2.

“Seem like you should be saying you need more production out of the whole team and your 6’7 3rd pick who your coach keeps trying to play through,” one fan said.
“Dawg she’s led your team in points several times this year. She would have a ton more assists if the team could shoot. She leads the league in rebounding and she’s the second best 3 point shooter apparently that you have on the team lol,” a second fan stated.
“You say this, but when the coach is asked what can he do to get Angel going offensively, he has no answer and says it’s important to get everyone going offensively. Chicago Sky’s organization is a dumpster fire,” a third fan commented.
“Can we get #FireJeffPagliocca trending,” a fourth fan added to defend Angel Reese.
“Jeff Pagliocca got rid of TSpoon, coach who brought out best in Angel & Chennedy Carter, only scorer who took pressure off Angel. Then traded #3 pick, (see 21yo Sonia Citron) for Ariel Atkins, who I ❤️ , but good for a vet team. Then asks ANGEL for the production he gave away. Pagliocca should be fired for his lack of production,” one final fan wrote.
